A few weekends ago I had lunch as my son's place and they served callaloo. I had to ask where they got the dasheen leaves because that is very hard to get in the British Virgin Islands. I was greatly surprised when I learnt that they used the frozen Bird's Eye chopped spinach. So of course I had to make my own batch of callaloo using this ingredient and I am super happy with the results!
