Construction worker is my favorite "throw away" build since your combat stat is practically already taken care of. However starting fire officer and maxing out both strength and fitness is always my go to

I try to avoid taking a lot of negative traits for points. Early on its great but past 6 months... a tiny disadvantage can kill your long run.

I either last less than 30 days or 6+ months. No in-between as i usually find the basics (tools + books) then head right for a place with guns... get the shotgun to get aiming above 3 then just merc hordes.

I usually take police officer because you get a lil bit in short blunt and aiming which is really nice cause you don't have to waste tons of shotgun shells trying to level aiming up to a viable number
