How safe is the Grub Customizer? I've seen mixed reviews where others say it's a gift from Grub gods and others say "stick to config-files".

On my laptop I only have Linux on it so I don't even see GRUB unless there is a problem so I don't really care what it looks like because I never see it. I have a duel boot situation on my gaming computer and I just used a script to put a theme on GRUB. I remember the days where you had to edit GRUB yourself, what a nightmare, you better back up your GRUB before manually editing GRUB (I would still make a backup anyway but I'm paranoid LOL).

Hi, thank you for this video. I have a dual-boot PC with a 4k screen. I installed grub customizer and it works, apart the fact that all the themes (even those for 4k screens) show big and pixelated text and also pixelated graphics. I also tried different custom resolutions in grub customizer to no effect. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I always get an error telling me that "theme.txt" cant be found even tho it's THERE...

BTW one of the things you talked about when getting into Linux was Active Directory. Have you tried setting AD on Linux ?
