Το Λιοντάρι του Πειραιά - The Lion of Piraeus

Το λιοντάρι του Πειραιά, βρίσκεται στο Χατζηκυριάκειο, στην είσοδο του λιμανιού. Το άγαλμα με την εμβληματική φιγούρα δεν είναι το αυθεντικό, καθώς έχει κλαπεί γύρω στο 1688 από τον Μοροζίνι , ο οποίος το μετέφερε στη Βενετία.

The Lion of Piraeus is located at the entrance of the harbor in Chatzikiriakeio. The statue with the emblematic figure is not the authentic one , asit was stolen around 1688 by Morosini , who took it tto Venice.
