Samaria,Gorge

The National Park that houses the gorge is open from May to October.Everyone can go alone or in organized groups.Choose the city of Hania as your base. From here buses will take you to Xylóskalo. You can reach Ayia Roumeli on foot.After that boat services 4 to 5 times a day to your base.

Balos

The famous lagoon of Balos is located approximately 56km northwest of Chania.You can go there with different ways from many points. It is best to rent a car to get to a point and then continue on foot. The route is a bit tedious but it is very nice !!

Red Sand

Wonderful beach with incredible sand in and out of the water. The sea has an amazing color. Access is difficult because you have to walk for 20 minutes but it rewards you as soon as you arrive.
