The emotional state of uncertainty can usually be known as fiddling with your fingers, sweating your palm, and feeling how your heart is racing rapidly. We would connote uncertainty as a negative emotion because it brings us ambiguity and unsureness in our decisions. And instead, we would prefer certainty - the quality of being true.
