How to do an Italian accent: Tricks to sound more Italian

Hi Beautiful People!
Do you want to have a more natural Italian accent and speak like a native speaker?
This video will give you some awesome tricks and at then end, you will be speaking like US!

1. You need to read everything so be mindful of your double.
2. H is not pronounced and if you use foreign words, remember to say them as we would
3. Erre (R) I know that it is tough if you are English, American, French and so on.. We roll our Rs and you just need some practise! if it helps, try to impersonate us (JUST FOR FUN), It will give you more confidence :-)
4. Music and language are a good combination and it can help your Intonation. Otherwise, how can I understand your intentions, your questions and your affirmation ?!?!?!?!?!?!
5. Try to use some filler words especially at the end of a sentence! they work magically in our language :-)

I'm a dialect coach for actors and voiceover artists and this video has some good beginner tips. I do speak fluent Italian (my favorite foreign language and of course needed for Italian opera diction which I needed as a singer). Yes my basic tricks (a) elongate mm or nn, and ll and double consonants stop and start like in cappuccino (cap-puch chi-no) (b) no diphthongs (c) The dead give away where American makes mistakes is in not understanding rules rules for Gio or Giu. (the i makes the g into a j sound) so Giovanni is not 4 syllables gi- o-van-ni but actually 3 syllables Joe-van-ni (with of course elongated nn) same when I hear Gianni, Giuseppe or Giacomo (My name in Italian) ... That drives me crazy. Also ch is k in Italian .. not "ch". (c) gn -ny and gl =ly .. I heard just the other day at a gallery a butchering of the art deco artist Giancarlo Impiglia . Just saying. Of course I tell students . super easy to get on Duolingo and study Italian . It is in my opinion the easiest foreign language to learn... and of course the most beautiful and sexy. Also helps to get an Italian lover LOL. Just sayin' Also Americans often do not understand the masculine "o" feminine "a" and plural "i or "e'. I hate going to concerts when I woman is performing and hearing bravo instead of brava. I was at an Italian restaurant a few days ago and heard several mistakes such as someone pronouncing gnocchi or funghi wrong . Also people don't understand accents on emphasis . such as in tiramisù (accent emphasis on last syllable) . I do certification courses in dialects for actors and vo and always include Italian! Hey, Polish student here. If you're learning italian (like me) remember, like in all Spanish like languages as Italian for example, you say "Io ho" you dont say "Io ho, you say: Io o, like the h was never there. Also if you want Italians to be impressed by your accent. ((If you want, you dont even need to search for tutorials like these. Just if you live in Italia, try listening in to the italian people and try to speak as close to them as you can. Sure, it wont be easy, but you'll get a hang of it. Trust me, as a person who loves learning new languages, I can tell you, that if you'd truly want to learn any language you could learn it fluently within 3 months. Speaking from experience here. When i was in the Netherlands i learned their language on a B1 level (which is fluent speaking) in 1, 5 months.
