Hiya! My name is Connor, and I am the author of SCP-3737. I had written this piece some time ago as my first serious addition to the SCP Wiki, but I still periodically search the internet for responses to it. It was recently featured, which not only blew my mind, but also enabled it to be seen by a multitude of individuals and even gain popularity. Having that many positive interactions on my first serious work was astounding and I could not be more appreciative to the community for being so loving towards it.

Then, I find this reading.

I simply cannot put into words the feeling I have after finishing this video. The best I can offer is that I am floored. You and your team captured the exact personalities and voices I had imagined for the characters, including Dr. McCall, who was my self-insert. Hearing his last line in an actual voice brought tears to my eyes and reminded me of why I wrote this piece. Gypsy was a very real companion of mine who I grew up with, and I still suffer from the regret of not being there in her final moments. SCP-3737 was purposed to be cathartic not only to myself but to the many individuals who know the sadness of losing a friend. You brought this work to life for me which is something I did not think I needed.

I seriously cannot thank you all enough for putting so much effort into this. It was beautiful and perfect in every possible way. I have been reminded why I write what I write, and I am incredibly enthusiastic to get back to doing so.

Gonna be honest, never had an SCP entry push me to tears before, but this one changed that. Having had a dog that was by my side my entire childhood until we lost her when I was 16, this hits really hard, and I would honestly give anything to see my best friend again, even for only 24 hours...
