The ending theme is one of the greatest pieces of music I've ever heard. It was the theme to, what was at the time, the biggest achievement of my life. Completing Super Mario Land when I was 7 made me feel invincible

I've just travelled back to my 5 year old self, in 1995 with my Gameboy. First gaming console I ever had. First game I ever played. Life was beautiful back then, I only worried about four AA batteries. The ending, the melody has just evoked a beautiful sense of nostagia. I remember my sister telling me there were no more levels. An important piece of my childhood, playing this game on roadtrips and camping trips as a kid. I remember hearing the ending song for the first time and thinking it was the greatest piece of music I've ever heard.

I had this for Christmas back in 89 when I was 6. And now my daughter is 6 and I’m getting her a Nintendo Switch and the Mario Bros game. Talk about full circle moment. Hope she enjoys it as much I enjoyed my Game Boy!

I can't believe that when I was a kid I could beat this game. No cheats, no saves, all while praying my batteries didn't t give out and playing on low brightness and mute to prevent them doing so
