When the Developers Add Little Details Like These... Helldivers 2

This is a short video about the details in Helldivers 2, my favourite is the one where the jetpack burns bits off your cloak its awesome.

The Galaxy’s Last Line of Offence. Enlist in the Helldivers and join the fight for freedom across a hostile galaxy in a fast, frantic, and ferocious third-person shooter.

This game is really good and really really good with friends.

I hope you enjoy the video!

A flame thrower takes longer to get going if there's no flames present because it's gotta prime and fire up it's pilot light. If stuff's already burning, it'll fire right up.

Standing behind a someone firing a recoiless rifle, EAT, or a rocket sentry will knock you over from the back blast of the rockets firing.

With glare is actually is oversight because if you look down ironsight a sun would be behind you there and there will be no glare, helmet (head sold separately) would block the rays. It's just great works of guys who made shaders

The annoying part about the fire thing is that ragdolling, for some reason, doesn’t extinguish the flames, so if you get lit up then get ragdolled you’re screwed

there are some consoles that are hard to see because it's nighttime and they have a light shining right above them; if you shoot the light out, it becomes a lot easier to see the screen

"Tip Of The Spear"... Hands down my favorite song from the Halo Reach Soundtrack. *Sigh... Nostalgia.*

Thank you for that! And great finds! Those are nice touches!

I thought everyone knew about the diving to put out fire thing, that's in like every game lol. Also, probably my favourite detail is the flamethrower blows in the current direction of the wind (same direction your cape is currently blowing)

It’s amazing that this game has all these details and cool tricks and the game only costs $40.

You can distract enemies that haven't spotted you by throwing a grenade.

Also, you can avoid detection from much closer while crawling, and each gun has a different "volume" that determines how far away enemies can hear it.

If you played HD1, you'd knew Arrowhead would deliver on the details.

If you’re in fire: Stop, drop, and roll

Yeah the reflections have been annoying, especially with some of the consoles. Fortunately artificial light sources can be "switched off" by shooting them.

When game Developers love what they are doing, it shows.

It's astonishing on how many people don't actually realize that diving instantly puts out flames if you catch on fire, like that's in like every game with proper fire physics nowadays, plus that's just common sense, stop, drop, and roll, we've all had that message drilled into our brains when we were kids

Plus it's not just fire, diving in this game will remove any status effect that covers the player such as acid or snow as well, and that the game actively teaches you

Love this little touch. And goddamn it, you using the Reach theme here just makes me sad Microsoft never greenlit this EXACT kind of game only with ODST's. It would have sold millions. You could literally re-skin everything in this game in Halo trappings and it would be so good.

wait, that fact about fire is actually incredibly useful. stop, drop and roll!

I love the details in this game.

They need to do something about the bug-- er, defects in matchmaking though.
