Alec, beautiful reg. I still have a mint Royal Aqua Master that I love to take diving occasionally. We have another thing in common. You were trained by an Ex-Navy diver in 1960. I was trained by an ex-Navy diver in 1961 (age-13). Your instructor wasn't (I guess I shouldn't give out his name) but he put me through a training program that lasted several weeks. I trained on a twin-set '38s Navy surplus tanks. His fee was that I buy a set of surplus tanks and a brutal DH along with a Navy surplus dept gage. I was in heaven and the only sport I wanted was "Lung Diving." I still have the tanks but the reg. died a miserable death in the late '60s and I bought a single hose Scubaire (Healthways) reg to take its place. My instructor told me at the end of summer to, "Go and teach as many of your friends because this sport is going to explode." He was right and I did just that. No "C" card until 1969 when I got "certified" by NASDS. I just had to take a written test and a very long water test to get my card. But who was complaining? Now, over the years I have accumulated a lot of diving gear and almost all of it is now vintage and out of service. I think your vids are great. I have been called the "Dinasour Diver." But what do those tadpoles know about diving? :)

Hi I was given a old open water diving manual and I looked through the different courses at the front and noticed that there was a underwater hunter speciality I just thought it was interesting because I had never seen this before and I didn’t know padi used to do courses involving stuff like hunting.

Wow very beautiful regular. You can see the quality workmanship and well worth the extra money as it sounds like it preform extremely well. How much would one of those go for today and can you still use it? I dive a lot of din myself but always wanted to try a two hose regular.
Thanks Will

Could you make a video about your personal dive equipment from 1958 until now? Moreover the difference between balanced piston and balanced diafram regulator

Motivating me to dig out my diving gear to service and try to get back down.. I think that I'm going to retire my first "dive computer" Marathon by Orca. Not like I can get a battery for it.😲
