What if you make a mistake typing the lyrics? Backspace doesn't work for lyrics the same way it does for note input.

I have a question:
Can we write lyrics (verses) and their numbers (verse number) and add space between the number and the start of the verse (lyric)?
For example: The first verse lyrics are written like this “1. Mary had a little lamb...”
The second verse “2. It followed her to school one day....”
(Notice the space between 1. and Mary; and 2 and It)
I'm asking this because whenever I want to give space (by pressing space bar) between verse numbers, it always goes to the other part i.e. it doesn't give space.

You have to use a non-breaking hyphen to use a word like willy-nilly or "non-breaking", you have to type –, otherwise this word will appear willynilly in the clipboard.
