I grew up a couple hours away from this band's hometown and nothing they've ever written has hit me as hard as these two songs. Don't get me wrong, their early stuff is fire, but these two songs just hit a different way.

All i can say is that this new Ceremony came at the perfect time for me. I love the old Ceremony, tore shit up and felt reborn when I first saw them play minneapolis in '08. Now I'm older, and while I still love the old pv sounding stuff, given that my partner left me the same day this song came out

Why would anyone say they miss old ceremony? You been to a ceremony show lately? They still play the old school stuff. This is incredible. I love this new direction. It's intense. I can't wait to pre order the album.

Iv absolutely loved every piece of musiqu created from Ceremony. All the different styles threw out the years, but always kept their sound true.

do you guys realize where the title of their bands name is inspired from? can not believe you guys didn't see this coming. from the first album to their most recent, these guys know how to do music and i love the hardcore punk and the new wave/ post goth songs they are producing just the same. this band is not a label or a brand they are organic like a living organism that will continue to change and grow, express emotion and have triumphs and failures just like and human being. so if your looking for a stagnant hardcore punk band where you can rely on it to churn out what you except every time like a cog to the machine Ceremony isn't for you. Ceremony is alive.

If a band like Cave In can go from mathy metalcore on their first releases to spaced out alt rock and then back again, all without changing their name, Ceremony can too. Who cares if it "confuses new fans"? It may seem crazy, but those new fans might actually end up enjoying the band's entire discography or discover an entire sub-genre they'd never been exposed to! Let these guys do whatever the hell they want, so long as they believe in it, which they obviously do.

I don't understand why people are so against change. I personally like all of Ceremony's stuff. If your music taste hasn't changed a bit in almost a decade, that doesn't say much about you. I don't think I would be listening to a few of the bands I still listen to, if they didn't evolve their sound. Love this album, and love all the old ones.
