Fairweather fans are an absolute pain, G2 played great this tournament, they got to semis, and lost to quite probably the best team in the world. I’m proud of them, they did a great job.

I’m a T1 fan but I was secretly hoping the games to go 3-2 in anyone’s favor. That’s how scary Caps can be. Kinda disappointed in G2 but they will come back stronger!

Caps was probably the best performing midlaner at MSI this year. Some of his plays looked really sloppy in games 1 & 3 but that's more a function of the game state than any individual weaknesses on his part.

G2 with a new roster with two rookies in their first international tournament made it to the semis! They lost only against the best and are without a doubt top 3. For me that's an absolute win!

This is the first time this team went to an international stage and they placed 3rd. Not bad at all, people just like to cry a lot over this game. We will see you in summer and welcome you with open arms!

Asians outsmarting Europeans is already common (it's a strategy and macro diff, Faker leadership and everyone following him is insane.) I can still remember how G2 not banning FPX's Lee sin for 3 consecutive games and losing all of it making FPX won the worlds making that Lee sin player an MVP, they did it again not banning T1's Xayah for 3 consecutive games knowing that G2 will always target enemy's adc and knowing that Xayah is the best adc to use to not getting combo wombo and have a high chance to survive and escape. Picking Tristana mid is already a strategy, you can expect that already that they will get Rift Herald since Tristana damage output on towers is insanely high letting her feed by destroying towers and letting her taking Turret plates is a bad idea. Actually you don't really need to go in korean server just to watch meta or copy them, do something like what Chinese teams doing, they are banning champions that can destroy their strategy or letting your ad carry feed by giving kills and turret plates to him. Honestly G2 micro is also good but micro can't beat macro in a professional tournament. Caps micro is insane but teamwork is a must. We can say you can beat Faker but you can't beat T1.

This 3-0 was good. A real representation of G2 and a EU. G2 was the strongest EU team this split and look how T1 just toyed with them. This should be a good wake up call for whole EU to get better because right now, we suck.

EU and NA should copy LCK or LPL format with a week of best of 3's and not just 2 days bo1 to be able to catch up to the asian teams. They really have to grind harder!
