REDMAGIC 9s Pro Unboxing & Gaming Review | SD 8 Gen 3 'Leading Version' Tested!

Unboxing Nubia's Red Magic 9s Pro gaming phone, with a review of the gaming performance to see if that Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version makes any difference with Genshin Impact. Gamers will adore the Red Magic 9s Pro's dependable power, although the phone does get warm under pressure. And while the battery life isn't any better in my gaming tests, this slab is solid competition for the ASUS ROG Phone 8 Pro.

The SD 8 Gen 3 Leading Version boasts overclocked CPU and GPU action although the original 9 Pro ran Genshin Impact just as well. The Red Magic 9s Pro also sports the same 6500mAh battery, so you can play intensive games for roughly five hours before the phone runs dry. Meanwhile that camera tech is the same as before, with an under-display selfie cam for a full-screen finish.

Nubia has added the usual excellent range of gamer features, including a pair of pressure-sensitive triggers with decent haptic feedback. The Red Magic 9s Pro finishes with a stereo speaker setup and a gorgeous AMOLED screen.

sony is killing itself by trying to compete with apple and samsung, focusing on cameras rather than their Playstation brand - to make a sick gaming phone. no doubt everyone in the comments are amazing pro photographers and need their phone to have the best cameras ever, but I tend to not see the point in focusing on camera tech in a gaming phone, cameras that are just going to be used to take pictures of food and images that will be drenched in instagram filters anyway....
