Brooke Kinsella - Founder of the Ben Kinsella Trust and Knife Crime Campaigner
Показать описание
Today I’m welcoming Brooke Kinsella to the podcast. You may recognise Brookes name from her days as an actress, where she played Kelly in Eastenders for a number of years. However, she is more recently well known and respected for her work campaigning against knife crime following the brutal murder of her brother Ben when he was stabbed in an unprovoked attack on the streets of London in 2008 aged just 16. Ben had just been out with some friends celebrating the end of his GCSE’s and he never got the chance to go home.
Brooke has now been awarded an MBE for her work to prevent knife crime and has set up a charity The Ben Kinsella Trust. Alongside her campaigning, she works as a talent agent and I am so pleased Brooke has agreed to chat to us today.
