13,000 years ago, the Ice Age was ending and the Earth was warming up. Then it suddenly got cold again for another thousand years. What gives? Did a comet impact cause all of that? Not really, but I wish it did because it sounds really cool.

Dr. Kinkella, I’m currently on a survey in Wyoming with Renee Collins. I really wanted to know what the other four judgments you have of her are besides her hat! LOL

Hey! Love your channel. Any idea what to make of Randall Carlson and Graeme Hancock and their idea that a comet or multiple comet impact somewhere in Canada destroyed some sort of big flood in the US? I guess I don't know enough about the amounts of energy released to know whether this is feasible. They do show a lot of things in their videos that would appear to show a very large movement of water around that same time as the Younger Dryas. Are they incorrect or ?

..the most recent Glacial Period, or 'ice age' is the most recent in more than 20 such periods over the past 2.6 million years - referred to as the 'Pleistocene.'
