The hole to the left of the ashtray is the factory accessory plug location. Its a separate piece that clips into the hole.

I don't think you'll mind the 3.73's with a little engine work. I've been running that combo for almost 12 years now.
I'm going to see how 37's & 3.73's play.

Nice Truck! I have a 96 CCSB with the 7.5. I put the 08 axles under it. I put 4:30 gears in it and the speedometer is very close. I do have one question, do you have any problems with the cab shaking when you go over bumps? That is currently by largest irritation with the set-up. I have tried the Bilstein 5100's and now have the Rancho 9000 XL adjustables. The truck handles well, the bumps are no longer harsh, it just rattles the cab.

Why aren’t you happy with 3.73s with 35in tires? Also is the 99 rear axle shorter than the 05 front axle, are you running wheel spacers?

i know this is an older post but did that 99 rear axle just bolt up to the rear because i have the exact same truck with the same axle about to go in. I was just wondering if there is anything unexpected.

If you gonna pay to get the seats recovered i just swap to 2016 limited seats also if you're gonna do anything to the engine the best decision i ever made was the banks power pack on mine
