Health is a wildcard. Putting off travel until retirement your body can fall apart before you plan your itinerary. Old people go on organized travel tours and they have to sit behind and not participate because they are not able to stand and walk for an hour or climb stairs.

I completely agree with her. If you lose a partner, start over. If you lose a job, start over. If you don’t like where your life is, change it. It takes planning. I always said I wanted to work the winter, then take off the whole summer and enjoy the good weather. If I save my money all winter, and sacrifice what I don’t need, I could do that.
