Meanwhile, in western Washington state, it's been 74 degrees and sunny for the past week, and gonna stay that way for the foreseeable future.😊

I was in Phoenix in 1979, and it was 118 degrees. I think it was June, so why is this a big deal nowadays

I'm alarmed that Phoenix is one of the fastest growing cities in the USA right now, but it seems with the more intense heat, it will be less sustainable. People should start making smarter choices on where to live.

In Arizona this time of year is usually their monsoon season. This is when the state gets most of it's rainfall for the year. My sister says all's they're getting is a 40 mph windstorm a few days ago in Tucson that blew down her trees and her neighbors trees.

I love once a baby or a dog is locked in a hot car. By social standards the car’s windows are forfeit. Something about how all of a sudden vandalism is mandatory cracks me up. As long as all involved are ok after the windows are magically turned to powder.

So the TX Governor doesn't want people to have water breaks when working construction 😡🤬😡

It's time to start building homes under ground where they can be more easily temperature controlled. With the hard ground, it would expensive to dig though. The other option, of course, is to move north.

Between 4pm to 8pm the heat peaks in Texas. Is it the heat index or the actual temperature that we are most concern with?
