2019 Lexus ES VS Mercedes Benz E-Class - INTERIOR

Mercedes may look nicer and more impressive but the Lexus is the better car. Build quality and reliability is much better than in the Mercedes. Also you get better value as you will not need to take it in for repairs. The only downside is that performance wise it’s not the same to drive as the Mercedes and just isn’t as responsive.If you planning to change your car every so often go for the Mercedes. If you planning to stick with one car go for the Lexus as it will last a long long time.
With the Mercedes you get a great balance between a smooth ride and performance. However the Lexus isn’t as good at either as the Mercedes. But I will say it’s a more comfortable place to be than the Mercedes. Better seating and more attention to detail. ( Lexus features handmade interior)
If this is going to be your only car I would definitely go for the Lexus as you will not experience any issues. However, If you are looking for a second car for the weekends/long journeys I would go for the Mercedes as its much more exciting. Hope that helped.

In my opinion, Mercedes-Benzes tend to have nicer interiors, although Lexuses do give them a run for their money.

Gotta show the same interior color for each car. Black makes almost everything look like shit. A $3000+ interior option that almost no one buys in an E class compared to a base ES which very few people buy.

Lease the Benz. Buy the Lexus. Compare them both in 7 years and 80 000 miles on them, the Lexus will be worth 25k more and everything will be in ship shape. The benz will have signal lights on a noisy suspension and weird feeling brakes.

lexus has simplistic Japanese design which most mistake for inferior quality, which is certainly not the case. People in the know are aware that, although the mercedes appears much more flashy, it is not automatically similar. I do really like mercedes, but i wouldn't dismiss the lexus as a rival at all.
