Piano Bar - Cowboy Bebop | by Yoko Kanno | Performed by Joe Zieja

This has been one of my favorite compositions ever since I heard it in the early 2000s. I've been attempting to play it for something like ten years, though I haven't really put in the effort to go full bore on it. It's not perfect, but it feels good to have it under my fingers. Yoko Kanno is one of the most brilliant compositional minds active today in anime, video games, and whatever. Cowboy Bebop was a stunning achievement in music, as was Escaflowne, and Wolf's rain. I missed seeing her live by about 15 minutes once!
