Courage To Overcome
Vinny promised his mother
he would stay away from the dangerous ravine
where a boy had recently died.
However, his friends put pressure on him
to join them on a trip to the ravine.
When they arrived,
Vinny's friends all climbed to the top of the ledge
and jumped into the lake below, urging him to do the same.
Despite his fear of heights,
Vinny summoned his courage and climbed to the top of the ledge.
Looking out at the beautiful scenery,
he chose not to jump,
