Thank you for such an in depth video, so very interesting. It goes to show how much people do without thinking about it, like giving rattles to babies and leaving offerings to ancestors, no one has ever explained why they do it or what it's for, they just do it and tell others to do it too, but how you explained it all made perfect sense. When I was in school I took a semester of African drums. My main instrument that I played was the Shekere, but I also played the Djembe and iron bell. I got made fun of alot for being Korean and playing African instruments. Still loved the class and the music though.
