2021 Virtual Commencement - Aims Community College

Thank you for joining us to celebrate our 2021 graduates! We are so proud of you!

The Virtual Commencement ceremony will feature formal remarks from:

▪ Dr. Leah Bornstein, CEO/President of Aims Community College
▪ Ms. Diane Holmberg, President of Aims Community College Foundation
▪ Ms. Terry Adams, President of Aims Community College Student Government
▪ Mr. Zinsou Mathieu Houegbenou, student keynote speaker, who is earning his Associate of Arts and transferring to UNC in fall 2021

Mr. Lyle Achziger, Chairman of the Aims Community College Board of Trustees, will confer degrees and certificates.

Aims Community College students Laura Ward and Evangelina Flores will sing the national anthem.

Following the formal remarks, participating graduates had their names read aloud to accompany their personalized digital slide.

Congrats to the graduates! You guys are embarking on another journey and I wish you all nothing but the best. I graduated from Aims in 2017 and it was magical! As of this Sunday will be transforming from an Aardvark to a Bear and it has been a journey! My advice to the graduate: "Keep on dreaming even if it breaks your heart." Eli Young Band.
