Hi! I'm Rachel Anita and this is how my husband jake & I budget our money. I have also created a free template fo you and your partner to use, and go over different ways you and your partner can handle your incomes, debt, and more. There is no one-size-fits-all and this is what works for my partner and I.
Feel free to "Make a copy" for yourself by hitting the file button. And please e-mail/comment if you've got any questions. I am not a financial advisor, I am just a young woman with a job and bills who's trying to be more financial responsible! This is what has worked for me.

Now I have more knowledge about personal finance. I just subscribed to your channel. Big ups to everyone working effortlessly trying to earn a living while building wealth in this recession. I’m 45 and my husband is 51, we are both retired, no debts. We are planning on relocating to Thailand. We are currently living a frugal and financially savvy lifestyle and generating passive income even during this recessionary period. Our commitment to saving and investing in the financial market has enabled us to maintain this lifestyle and continue earning monthly passively through investment""

Maybe you could make a video on how you budget/plan for buying groceries? I always end up over spending on food 😣

We do the same thing but our income gets direct deposited into our joint acct. We used to get separate deposits but I found it was easier to have the same acct and we each have a card but I manage it alone and I just tell my husband what spending money we have left. We get paid opposite weeks/biweekly. So we just share all of our funds and let eachother know if he are going to buy anything over $100

Hey I’m sort of late to this video but it’s very useful. Do you have to pay taxes for the joint bank account apart from your personal?

What about like dates and vacations. Would that come from your joint account? Or would you guys split a vacation from your individual personal accounts. Same for dates. If he takes you out on a sit down dinner, does he spend money for dinner from the joint account or from his own?

This might sound silly. But when we have a merge account do we both have separate physical cards but the same account? Or is it just one physical card?

But how did you make the chart? My bf gets paid every week so I have to do a lot more weeks and I ran out of room on the budget chart in the description.. i don't even know how to add more rows

Hi maybe a silly question, just want to clarify since your budget is twice a month but the bills are monthly like your mortgage, so are you splitting the bill in half so your budget is twice a month?
