General I have been talking to you via Hangouts. Everything I have read about you once I googled your name, is exactly what had been shared. It was, to begin with believable and flattering but my queries were never answered. That’s when I saw something underhand. Just this morning when I was asked to send money somewhere to help the dying son I deleted everything. Never have I come across this dirty business. I’m Australian and travelled extensively including Wyoming, Montana, down the Bear Tooth pass in winter. He added more places where I had been to ....Yellowstone...etc. 2 days ago the dialogue changed to pleading and I knew he wasn’t who he said he was. He was in Afghanistan with ha and he had no way to get to his dying son. I lead him on a bit and wish I could ferret him out. I should have realised immediately that someone of your standing wouldn’t be looking for friends on Facebook. Oh yes you are a widower.

Been receiving lots of friend requests from men whose names don't even jive to their picture. I do not accept friend requests with weird names. Another way of finding if they are scammers. Check on the people who reacted to their postings. Open them up n check on their postings. That would tell you if the fb is legit or not. Might as well do your own search. It is a mental torture.
