Update: It's been more than 24 hours since I shot this video, and it's still working fine... indeed, the speaker has less distortion on it now that it's dried out.

hi there, i received just now the blackview bv8000 pro, wanted to ask, do you know if the battery needs to be charge for 5 hours before I open it ? when I switch on the mobile phone, I saw 75% battery, BUT in the information small book they saying to charge for the first time 5h then to let it drain and charge again until the battery icon is stop blinking ...so charge now or after the 75% drain and finished?

I bought the Blackview BV6000 and i couldn't be happier. It is still 1 year later as fast and un corrupted as it was when i bought him. Only thing that is not as good is the external speaker. But i love this phone, it's really good quality phone. I use the internet (3-4G) alot and it is almost faster to load pages then my PC.

Actually, I've never heard of this brand...I just got a "follow" prompt on my Instagram today... I looked a bit into Blackview...Seems to be another Chinese competitor to Huawei... Huawei is starting to ace the international scene with its new Mate 10/10 Pro, with the probability of now entering the US carrier market...The new Huawei 970 chipset is starting to even spit into the face of the Apple A11 "Bionic"! Blackview looks pretty impressive, but can it hold up to the likes of both Samsung and Huawei? Time will tell...

This might be a rugged phone but it is not very user-friendly, especially when you are used to a SAMSUNG!!! Files cannot be transferred from one folder-to-another using the phone as an interface, not even connecting it via computer/laptop (it is normally just "hanging there"!!!!). You have to unscrew the phone, take out the SD-card and put it into a reader and THEN you might have some success.
New firmware is available (Android Oreo 8) that might assist the phone being easier to use (however, I found it extremely difficult to try and download all the "necessary" files in order to make it happen) but not is not yet available from Blackview OTA (Over The Air), only the Nougat 7. Now, I have used the browser-logo on the phone that connects one directly to Blackview-site and requested assistance at least 4 times but to no avail....you just do not exist for them and you waste your time to try and get any response from them.
I would suggest to anyone out there to think twice before buying any Blackview product. Their price is really good but user-friendly NOT and their service NON-EXISTENT!!!

Thank God those amateurs on Gearbest tricked me and while pre-advised the BV7000 PRO I ordered, they just gave me tracking number but NEVER gave the item to shipping company to bring it to me, according to shipping company, and now they are refunding.
I am not sorry talking like that 'cause I was waiting for a ghost for 65 days.
For the favour they did to me, Im gonna buy this beauty..

USB covered phones are cheap. this opended USB &3.5mm is Nano coated for waterproof. which means a lot high quality.

Недавно купила я BlackView BV8000 pro и пожалела. Сам телефон стилен, но при этом его страшно уронить... Нет, не только за телефон, ещё и за ногу страшно! Поэтому уж лучше взять что-нибудь поменьше NOMU S30 MINI, к примеру

I do not think much of this phone...few pro's (GREAT price for the specifications), but mainly con's! It required using at least 3 different apps to transfer all my info from a mediocre Samsung J1 Ace Neo and then, when ready for use, it froze on me when I installed my 2xSIM-cards for the first time using it!! Luckily, one company in South Africa offered to assist me and re-installed the software (many thanks Daniel!). Still, I could not read/access any of the 2 service providers' network (data) at all!! where it is supposed to be LTE-capable. It could not read my 64GB SD Card (and it is supossed to handle a 256GB) and after 2 attempts doing a SLOW format, it could read some of it but my music files was not accessible. The on-board music player app could not pick-up any songs (.mp3) and had to download another music app. When trying to allocate 5 phone numbers to the SOS button, it accessed the contacts but in no particular order of numbers, names or alphabetically (as expected!). So I was not going to read through 1000 names to find 5!!! There were more issues but enough said....I will not promote this brand.

I know Xiaomi is looking for their own identity: but PINK? its really that necessary? xD haha ... personally i am going for a more PPR: AGM android 7 just because i like ruggeds the most and is a great phone :)

Horrible phone, don't get tricked in those nice specs, this phone has plenty of issues, my speaker died after 2 weeks, the camera is total garbage I solomly swear my first Samsung from 2001 had a better camera then this one.
Battery is weak and loses 25% percent overnight, it can barely run a full day on a charge..
My Xiaomi from 2015 with a lower spec snapdragon processor was way faster with everything..
