Once Upon a Time 03x13 'Witch Hunt' - Regina seeing Henry again

The scene starts off with Ruby (yay Red is back!) giving hot cocoa with cinnamon to Henry. Mary/Snow and David/Charming then enter and Emma introduces them to him saying they're old friends which Henry wants to know from where. Mary and David answer both at the same differently and Mary quickly says that they were cell mates in Phoenix. The conversation gets pretty awkward and funny at the same time. David tries to change the topic and that's when Regina comes in all shocked, dropping her cup. Emma quickly comes over to her saying that they need to talk. Regina was devastated that Henry looked right through her and Emma explains that he still doesn't remember her. Regina doesn't really understand what Emma is doing here and Emma explains that Hook found her and gave her a memory potion but there wasn't enough of it for Henry too. Regina then starts to defend herself that she wasn't the one who cast the curse again. Emma admits that the thought did cross her mind. Regina then forms a plan in her head on how they should get to the bottom of this since Emma's plan of going around using her superpower on everyone would be too time-consuming and not to mention unreliable...

This scene breaks my heart every time I watch it. I can’t imagine how hard it must’ve been for Regina to not have Henry recognise her. Especially since she had to go through that TWICE. Once here and again in season 7 😮😢
