Even without the kill, being harassed everywhere you go has a way of wearing you down emotionally.

Suchimomus, it is so important to see the thank you's from donations. It is encouraging and keeps us wanting to donate more as we get to see the donations get into the right hands. Please encourage more of these when you can. Cheers from East Canada🙏🇨🇦 💙💪🇺🇦

The fundraising "outcome" and "thank you" is invaluable in convincing people that this was not just another scam (of which there are way too many).

I'm still amazed at how relatively accurate those drops are.

Yes, disabling the truck was good enough for the moment. It seemed that the aimer did not yet have a feel for how long the drop takes.
Let’s not forget that the truck was disabled (and morale impacted by one more increment) at minimal risk to the defenders.

Every drone drop counts, tank or lorry it all counts to a Victory.

There's definitely a gap in capability between some average Ukrainian drone droppers and the best ones. You can see that played out in videos. Whoever piloted this drone was top notch. It would have been very very difficult to hit the truck moving at high speed. The fact that this operator was able to hit it so close likely resulted in its tires getting blown out from shrapnel. It's also possible that the fuel tank might have been punctured. It's possible, but less likely, that a fuel line or a brake line could have been damaged.

I used to work as a car mechanic. I have experience with passenger cars but not trucks. This truck might have had an air brake system, and it's also possible that shrapnel could have caused a leak in the air brake system, but I don't think that's likely. I think the most likely reason for the crew to abandon the truck was that shrapnel probably punctured one or more tires.

This suggests to me that these little Ukrainian drone munitions can effectively cause the loss of many classes of vehicles even if they don't manage to ignite the vehicle on fire with a direct hit on the engine compartment or on an ammunition load. If Ukrainians can manage to blow out the tires of a vehicle or puncture the fuel tank with shrapnel, they can always send another drone to drop an incendiary munition on the vehicle in a subsequent mission. Russian crews will NOT want to come back to tow the truck in the middle of a battlefield. They might recover some, but if they attempt recoveries then their recover crew could very likely be met by a subsequent drone mission that has the advantage of attacking a stationary crew as it attempts to hoist a vehicle onto a tow truck or unload the cargo.

Seeing this kind of footage convinces me that small drones are incredibly useful for the Ukrainian side. Ukrainians are learning that they can use a combination of low-risk systems with multiple attacks to destroy many classes of vehicles. For example, a small mine could blow the tracks off a tank. Then the crew will abandon the tank, and Ukrainians can send a small drone to drop an incendiary grenade down the open hatch of an undefended stationary tank in the middle of a field from very close range. Or Ukrainians can get a lucky strike on a vehicle with a grenade dropped from a drone and then completely destroy the vehicle with an artillery round or a second drone attack.

Ukrainians just have to keep going to work every day, finding Russian equipment with recon drones, and doing the work to gradually destroy all of Russia's equipment with drones, artillery, mortars, ATGMs, mines, etc. Just keep going to work every day, focusing on results, and they will start to see results. It's like farming. You clear your field, you sow your seeds, you go to work throughout the growing season to water your crops and pull weeds, and then several months later you get to reap your harvest. You just have to keep at it and do the work.

Those *drone-ades* are very light and get moved about a lot by the air currents even small breezes. Getting that close to the moving _orcmobile_ is really very good coz it ain't easy. Dropping at night when the air is still can have better results. The larger drones that are dropping RPG and mortar rounds that are heavier are effected by mild air currents to a much lesser degree due to their extra mass; Isaac's 2nd Law if I remember my flight school classes correctly.
*Thank You* for the videos. As Yoda would say, _"Mmm appreciated much they are."_ May the Force be with them. 💥

one less supply truck is worth an artillery round. Then again I'm not making those decisions.

The truck took three shrapnel showers. I can't imagine it's going anywhere anytime soon.
