Malaysia part, never heard of chasing hen and especially if the school is in city area. Where they even gonna find a chicken. The example punishment are standing on the chair, standing under the bright sun, squatting, push-up and caning (on hand or butt, usually boys would get on the butt) but the last one is no longer allowed and the teacher could be jailed if the student complain to the parents and report to the police (true story)
