Played this one a little bit before and was going to play this one again when I saw this but when I went to update it I noticed they have released Stoneblock 2 with new bosses and end game so I am going to check that out instead!

Instead of upgrading your pick from flint to copper/iron, you should just use sharpening kits, that way you get the ability to mine higher tier ores, but it still only costs flint to repair.
