I’ve used a short where I’m hunched over my putter like a gargoyle. Think I’m gonna go get one of these to try now I’m successfully sucked with the odyssey shorty.

Btw folks…..you don’t have to have a long one like this. Mine is 41” and I’m right at 6’ tall. I prefer bending over given me a feeling of better control. The 48” style felt horrible to me.

As someone who started using the Odyssey Broomstick Jailbird putter a month ago...this video sucks. This guy is purely winging it in this video. He (fortunately) doesn't use a long putter, never has... but he's showing us!? Settle into the putter and kind of feel it? No mention of all the pressure being on your left hand and right hand to guide, or elbow pointing at the target. He also pulls the putt, not a great putt or technique at all. Why even bring up the illegal anchor part into the conversation? The anchor ban was 6 years before this video was made (2016). I've hit thousands of putts since I bought this putter and the distance to my chest is at least 3-4 inches away. Anyone who wants to watch a real teaching video check out the Adam Scott with Grant Horvat long putter video.
