Oh my God. I'm just getting power back on in my area. I live in Murray, Kentucky. I had no idea until now just how bad this is. Mayfield is about 20 mins away from me. Those poor people. My prayers go out to everyone and every place that experienced loss and destruction due to those tornados.

This is not something that usually happens in December. This is March/April/may weather.

I have a close friend -a sister in Christ in Bowling Green and man, was I glad to talk to her yesterday!
I've been praying for all these people affected.

Heartbreaking...December is hardly tornado season, but I am tired of arguing with people who don't even know the difference between climate and weather. We have been warned about Catastrophic weather events becoming a more regular occurrence.

What's even worse (if it could be any worse) is that so many people not only lost their homes and everything they've ever worked for, but they've also lost their jobs and livelihoods. Words just can't express how deeply heart-breaking this is.

It's just amazing that we can safely launch humans in a tin can, over 17, 000mph into space; but we cannot build structures to protect people - on earth, mind you - from a whirlpool of air.

Is it God's wrath again or is that only when a blue state gets hit with a natural disaster?
