I know this is five months old video, but I was trying to find information on the care of the Variegated Hoya Compacta and found this channel. I just ordered a 8” Hoya variegated compacta and I’m so excited. I wish I can show you a picture on how long the tendrils are. Hopefully she will flower for me soon once I receive her this week. BTW yours is beautiful 😍 I do have the green version and the Hoya Compacta “Mauna Loa”. I really love the compacta types.

I love it! I had mealies on my big girl last year. I was devastated. Consistent cleaning with alcohol and liquid systemic treatments and months later……haven’t seen one for a while now. She just went outside for the season over the weekend. Praying she stays healthy!

This is one of my favorite Hoyas and the first one I bought! I love the leaves and the whole aesthetic of it.
Your flowers are gorgeous!!!
I have three of them, but one isn’t doing too well and the leaves are wrinkled no matter how much I water it. After listening to you, I’m wondering if the roots are gone or rotted. I’m going to unpot it tomorrow, pray that there’s no bugs in the roots and cut it up to propagate it. Send prayers that I can save it!
