Imagine in places like California, NYC, and Chicago. Pass a law for law enforcement to stop the car legally to discourage this practice.

Dallas police used to have a unit dedicated to paper plates but that worthless chief Renee Hall from Detroit did away with it. She said we didn’t need it. Since then a lot of criminals are using them to commit crimes, people have no insurance no registration or the car is stolen. It’s a big problem and needs a lot of attention.

One of my neighbors has had a 'temporary tag' for almost a year. Seems suspicious to me. Another neighbor has not renewed her tag in over 2 years even though she drives her car everyday. I guess the rules only apply to some people

They should impound the vehicles and make the dealers come get the cars if it appears in question

This has to get under control! I had someone with fake tags hit my vehicle. They didn't have insurance! People are even printing these tags on their computer. In New York we don't get paper tags when we purchase a vehicle, the dealer has the plate or you have to go to the DMV immediately and get your tags! Makes sense don't it? 🤔

My moms neighbor has had temp tags for like 2 months now, maybe even longer? Who knows? That's just when i noticed them. For a gallon of gas, I'll be more than happy to point them out.

I live in Dallas and I was hanging out just drinking a beer outside, some guy pulls up to the car wash, he gets out of his car with a drill and switched his paper license tags in 1 minute and he was gone real quick. Probably just killed or robbed someone
