Rocket Yoga - The OG Power Yoga - Bottle Rocket Sequence
Показать описание
Rocket Yoga was founded by Larry Schultz when he was on tour with the Grateful Dead. He created the Rocket sequences to make Ashtanga more modern and accessible. Bob Weir of The Grateful Dead named it Rocket Yoga because "it gets you there faster". The Rocket is playful and challenging, always offering arm balances and inversions.
This sequence is the shortened "sample platter" Bottle Rocket, constructed by Amber-Gean Espelage, my Rocket teacher and friend. She is a Senior Rocket instructor and trained with Larry for many years.
Stay tuned for more Rocket sequences. Rocket 1 focuses on the legs and is meant to be practiced on Mondays and Thursdays, Rocket 2 focuses on arms and back (arm balances + backbends) and practiced on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and Rocket 3 aka Rocket Happy Hour is a mix of the two, practiced on Fridays. The Primary series or Rocket 1 is practiced on Sundays.
Enjoy this sequence and have fun with it. Learn to be playful and "silence the inner critic".
