Caitlin Clark Didn't Deserve For This To Happen

Caitlin Clark just made her WNBA debut when the Indiana Fever played the Connecticut Sun in the first round of the WNBA playoffs. Caitlin Clark was poked in the eye early on by Carrington and there is a huge debate as to whether or not it was on purpose and if the eye poke affected Caitlin Clark's performance.

How many fking time do we have to say “fk these referees they should be fired” ever since cc came to the league for not calling a flagrant foul? She got stab in the eyes they keep playing? That’s so unfair.

Carrington is a dirty player, of course, it was on purpose to hurt her.

that replay is crazy. It's like she is aiming those nails directly at the eyes.

What kind of league allows people to wear fake nails and eyelashes just to play basketball? This was totally intentional!

The block looked innocent enough, but the moment the fingers turned downwards, and looked like a spear, and strikes Clark in the eye, it became a planned assault.

A true accident would have seen the fingers remain pointed in the air, and not curled downwards, to snake strike on Clarks eye.

C'mon man...
Look at the way she held her hand and aimed right for CCs eye. The Fever needs an Enforcer.

Absolutely disgusting behavior. Caitlin is bringing so many eyes to the W, I can't believe they don't appreciate that.

So the jealous women took Caitlin out of any possibility of help. It's sad these women are so petty

From the other angle it looked intentional, especially the way she straightened her fingers like spikes and struck CC in the eye. I wonder why sharp acrylic spikes are allowed to be glued to fingertips when they have no use in game play except for vanity or to injure an opponent. Neither baseball or football would allow dangerous spikes, and they might even have some advantage other than causing injuries.
If CC suffers a serious injury from this type of unregulated equipment and unregulated injurious behavior then I hope it is the end of the WNBA forever.
The NBA subsidizes them with $15 million per year, which should give the NBA plenty of power to insist on removing those finger spikes, re-training the officials, or replacing the refs and the league president too.

The Eye Poke, That was Intentional.
Their motto is if we can't stop her, disable her.

Long fingernails and eye lashes are ridiculous in basket ball.

Perfect example of racism and jealousy from one of the W lesbians.

Of course that stab in the eye affected the rest of her game!! First there was the pain—bruising means blood vessels were broken. Second—her vision was probably affected somewhat. Third—the fear of what could have happened, it could have been a permanent injury! It is OUTRAGEOUS they are allowed to wear those long pointed fingernails. And why was no foul even called?

sue Carrintgton for assault, the video does not lie

This was serious. Obviously intentional and Carrington needs to be suspended from the playoffs. Where the hell was Sides? Where were her teammates?
