This quartet meant a lot to me, as well. I am involved in two ways with this posting. I am the first tenor on the left picture above, and am now 71. And I did the original recording of this song, and still have the original tape. I also did the CD editing, mastering, and produced the CD whose cover picture is shown above. The great bass singer, shown on the right, Jesse Guzman was our Bass singer, shown on the right above, and posted this. Thank you Jesse. This was my first quartet my freshmen year in college. I then went on to 4 more quartets, that were each substantial groups, including the second version of this group (Watchman Quartet II 1968-1970; the Andrews University Quartet, 1975-1978; The CrossRoads Quartet, 1983-1986). I then stopped public quartet singing, and went into "private" quartet singing, with me singing all parts in multitrack recordings. That CD was released privately to a small group of perhaps a few hundred. I also auditioned twice as first tenor with the original singers of this particular arrangement of this song (The fabulous King's Heralds Quartet, the oldest continues Gospel Quartet in America), once in 1971, and again 10 years later, in 1981. But, having said that, it ALL started right here with this Quartet! Thank you for posting, Jesse. BTW, if anyone wants to hear what the other groups progressed to, you can contact me, at Wayne Woodhams, Ventura, California 805-659-3876. I have CD's of all groups, and will share a copy if you cover postage, and $1 for the cost of the raw CD. I'm not here to make money, but would share some neat quartet music, since I love quartet singing with a great passion. WW.

I was surprised to see this. Pleasantly so, but....wow! I married Gerald Otterstrom. It's sad, but he no longer sings. He has such a beautiful talent and can harmonize so effortlessly. Thanks Jesse!
