Until and unless we have good people occupying important positions in India - NOTHING will change. And that change begins with YOU.

1. Become part of the political process, or take an active interest in learning about the Politics, Economics, and History of this country. There's absolutely no pride in being apolitical.

2. Please choose your Role Models wisely in Life. It is sad that modern-day India has casually replaced scientists and makers of modern India with reel creators.

Standards of society are dictated by who the members of society admire. Please think twice before you casually replace your legends so casually.

I hope - some of you will hopefully start thinking beyond party or religion-based politics and will fight for good economics.

We are working with many future MLAs/IAS/IFS/IPS/ Policy Consultants/Management Consultants
and preparing them to occupy important positions in this country.

If you'd like to be part of my mission - please reach out, and share it with others.

This country has enormous potential, and we should make it our duty to work towards it.

Why is everything SO EXPENSIVE in India?

1. Narrow Direct Tax Base: 97% of India does not pay DIRECT taxes, which forces the government to rely on indirect taxes that significantly inflate expenses. And from here the Tax Fraud in India starts.

2. Reliance on Indirect Taxes: Due to the narrow direct tax base, the government heavily relies on indirect taxes, including GST, Road Tax, Fuel Cess, Entertainment Tax, Toll Tax, Krishi Kalyan Cess, Swachh Bharat Cess, Education Cess, and what not. These taxes are regressive and impact all consumers, regardless of income.

So, here you have a situation where 3% of India is evading taxes (because they are over-burdened with taxes), and 97% of India is burdened with indirect taxes—without even realizing it (without even holding the government accountable - there is a strong corelation between Democracy & direct tax base).

What’s worse?

High taxes don’t correlate with quality public services. Police treat you like third-class citizens, doctors don’t operate unless you are a VIP, and when you lose a job, you are again taxed as/when you receive a 'severance cheque.'

Unlike Nordic countries, where social safety nets provide support during unemployment, in India, individuals often find themselves without aid when they lose their job.

For a few votes, the government ruins the lives of 3% directly and 97% indirectly. The rich will buy golden passports, but the 97% will vote based on their caste, religion, and region.

Until and unless we have good people occupying important positions in India, NOTHING will change. And that change begins with YOU.

2. Please choose your role models wisely in life. It is sad that modern-day India has casually replaced scientists and makers of modern India with reel creators.

Standards of society are dictated by who the members of society admire. Please think twice before you casually replace your legends so casually - and decide to vote based on caste, religion, or artificially manufactured issues.

The poor got nothing to lose
The rich got nothing to desire for
But the middle class gets crushed between the fear of losing and desire for something. 😢

Small taxes can affect investment decisions such as whether to choose tax-free municipal bonds over taxable bonds or do a Roth IRA conversion. I’ve been sitting on over $745K equity from a home sale and I want to invest on the stock market, how do I achieve this without being taxed twice?

Finally someone is talking about the real problem.
I don't want freebies but taxes are too much...
Why does our opposition not raise their voice against this?

No one is talking about the tax burden that is on the Middle Economic Salaried population. Finance minister Nirmala JI laughs away when asked about this imparity. Thank you for speaking about it Naman.

We middle class people suffer the most due to the worst tax system of India.
Once a middle class, always a middle class.
This is really heartbreaking. If tax system is not designed properly, nobody would go for corporate job. Everyone will go for making reel and media field.

The problem is even after paying tax, we don't get to see where is it being utilised?
Still we go to private hospital for better and faster treatment. Still we go to private school for better education.

You are trying to educate people and getting the discussion going, it’s a good start.
Restructuring the tax system may be far away, at least the awareness may lead to people expecting better services and facilities from the government and beginning to voice it strongly, as is being done here by many.

I think we all middle class should come together for protest. Taxes are too much and its making our lives hard. Even one day protest would be sufficient.

Why are we not doing anything about this? Why are we allowing this? Do Indians not know about this?
