BMW X4 (F26) OIL CHANGE and SERVICE LIGHT RESET (X3 F25)

I just changed the oil on my wife's 2017 BMW X4 M40i F26 and made a DIY video of it. At the end I also show you how to reset the service indicator.

As a heads up, should be 0W-30 for the X4 M40i, it has it on the hood. Driving it in a colder climate might give some potential engine wear.

Whats up with 5w30oil car says its 0w30 oil . I have the 15' x4 m40i f26 engine .what gives dealer told me 5w30 or cars oem which is 0w30? Which is best? What do u think?

What year is your X4? I have a 2020 X3M with the S58 engine and I'm having a hell of a time finding a code reader that has the battery registration feature on it for this vehicle.

I have the same car and i get horrible mpg . On a full tank i get maybe 260 miles. No rough idle or anything . Can you show the upstream o2 sensor location or idk how to fix it

So you tell me how to verify that drain plug is 17mm before I get down on the ground and under the car, but you completely neglected to tell me to take an 8mm socket with me under the car to remove the "little tiny panel" that is covering the access to said 17mm drain plug...
