A small correction: If a later act is already revealed, you can get cards from that act even if you haven't finished an earlier one. The first person who completes act 1 will flip over the act 2 cards, and they can only use those. However, if you're still in the middle of act 1, you can still attempt those cards-- this can allow you to come back if you've fallen behind, but is more risky as the challenges are harder. If you're on act 2, you cannot take any more act 1 cards-- this prevents people who are ahead from just sweeping a bunch of easy cards and immediately ending the game.

I was given the game for Christmas by my partner but I have yet to have the opportunity to play it with my friends that have read Stormlight because of lockdown and it's just been staring at me this whole time.

Thanks for the great tutorial! I tried watching another one and it was so confusing. This one was very clear and easy to follow.
The game is beautiful and lots of fun! It's pretty complicated - i compare it to Seven Wonders. First time through, you really have no idea what you're doing, but on round two you're ready to compete!
The art is amazing, and is definitely a must-have for Stormlight fans.

Well done! I learnt more from this video than a few others that I watched. Thank you. I find it odd that advantages from cards are covered by the age card. I think I would stack them in such a way that the information is visible perhaps like 7 wonders (1st edition). That would likely mean the play sheet is pretty much ignored except for the hero/anti-hero chart (list).

This is beautiful. I'd get it for the art alone. The art is basically the sole reason I still own my MtG cards so this wouldn't be that different :)

Thank you for posting this! I've been putting off playing it after I got it for Christmas because my ADHD and rules don't mesh very well. Looking forward to finally giving it a go, as I'm currently in the middle of a series re-read.

I saw this video and bought the Deluxe Edition like, not even an hour later, purely on the hopes that my friends (who don't read the Cosmere) would agree to play it. If not... Oh well, cool art and a fun OC making machine.

Just played it as a local Wheel of Time get together in Minnesota. I wish we would have watched this first because after 2 1/2 times playing it we were still getting stuff wrong 😂
