I'm from Florida I have met many alligators! my husband and I have saved a couple however I did not know this amazing fact regarding their eyes, this is so cool!
It makes me curious to know if this is the same thing going on with spiders because in Florida we know to shine a flashlight at night to illuminate alligators and spiders eyes, very interesting! 🤔

Seeing eyes in the dark is scary to me, but at least it's a warning that there's someone out there who could kill me. But it IS fascinating, the reflector system naturally built into the back of their eyes.
