never delete these videos this information is rare, currently I won an A6 2.8 V6 30V APR and I am studying the possibility of putting the crankshaft and pistons and connecting rods of the 2.7T. THANKS

There's nothing inefficient about using a V motor with a single turbo, but to fully optimize, it does take quite some time to match pulses, etc.

This kit was designed around a serious budget, a few concessions made, but a small sacrifice for how cheap it is. The advantages are many, such as it taking only 30-45 minutes to swap turbos, versus pulling the entire motor.

I ran out of fuel pump; as the car sits right now, it did 580whp @ 25psi on race gas. We'll be pushing it well past that.

You don't need to do anything to the motor beyond a 2.7T intake manifold, but you'll be limited in how aggressive you can go since it does not have forged pistons. The rods are the same as the 2.7T, as are the valvetrain (besides cams).

Guys I’m a little late but by looking at the dipstick it is a 2.7t bored. The 2.8l 30v has a pea supercharger for aftermarket.

this is either a 2.7 block with the 2.8 2.7 stroked to 2.8. 2.8 blocks cant handle the power.
for the single turbo kit you use stock 2.8 manifolds and the y pipe bolts to them. or use 2.8 heads for a bit more displacement

It is available for purchase.

I'm building the same thing but with an afc engine

Will the 2.7L intake bolt up without any issues at all, like fuel lines in the way or bolt holes not matching up?

Really slim chance but still curious about this build. I’m currently attempting the same build, the engine compartment is small and hard to work with and decide where to mount the turbo and how to fit piping, I like how you got away with single turboing a v6. If you still do read these comments please to respond back I’d love to hear about this!

when i added everything up i came to close to 10 grand stock to STK with a tune. and thats a stock motor no rods piston or head work done.

i guess one of the biggest arguments for a single turbo setup is plain and simple: costs. one big upgrade charger is way cheaper than two smaller ones. other than that: i think leading the exhaust gases from a V-engine to ONE topmount charger will cost you a fair bit of the thermal energy and somewhat reduce response of the charger. please correct me if i am wrong.

Just curious, what is the advantage of running this kit versus two turbos in parallel? I am new to the B5 S4 modding scene.

To me this seems like it might waste some exhaust energy, but I understand space constraints, and am just curious.

It looks well engineered, thanks for sharing! :)

Did you upgrade the cams by any chance ?
