We did a project in middle school back in Italy where, even though they highlighted the supposed obsolescence of the science, we’d measure our desk-mates faces (cheek bones, noses, bridges, etc.), and would see where we’d fit in based on the historical concepts of European races; all I can remember from my measurements is that I was basically all Dinaric and a tiny bit Alpine. It was such a cool project that would get a teacher sued nowadays.
