Love how you always make the best use of long clips, like 0:18, it makes me think your editing is always a tribute to the animated series that you choose to edit to. Also makes your footage choice a distinguishable trait in your videos. If it's not a well animated anime, it can't be your video. How amazing is that your taste in animation shines through such a simple choice? Your zooms look "deeper" in this, maybe it's just me but I think they've got more depth and they're, of course, not only perfectly timed as always but also properly placed. I hate videos with numerous zooms, it deprives them of their visual impact. A well balanced placement of stuff (whether it's FX, transitions, glitches, overlays...) never fails to be in your videos, idk how many times I already said that lol I just adore it. I think it boosts the emotional energy in your videos. Speaking of which, I'm intrigued by the fact that this is clearly about a girl coping with loss but it doesn't feel as dramatic as many other videos that REALLY tend to exaggerate on the showcase of human emotions. Loss is terrible, but there's no need to overdo it. You can convey the strongest emotions of pain by staying close to the actual human sorrow, without turning it into a psychotic breakdown everytime. Not that it's wrong or inhumane or that it doesn't happen, I'm merely saying it's nice to see something different for once. Back to the video, I got the message that water was a very important symbol for them so the girl is reminded of him every time she's in proximity of water, which is... so sad, really, because water is (thankfully) everywhere in our lives, even in her tears. I haven't watched the anime but the general idea is crystal clear and your editing totally respects it and pays homage to it. Love the memories in b&w that glitch when the music requires you to. Great job ♥ and the song is 11/10!

I don't know anything about the movie, but there's something so gentle about this video; I feel compelled to come back to it. You have such a wonderful sense of flow and atmosphere, and you really know how to work with anime and bring out this very easy-feeling sense of motion and wonder and emotional catharsis.

aaa you went and watched it!!! i'm so happy you liked it enough to edit with, especially because this is super beautiful;; i saw this on my feed before i went to work this morning and i was so excited, this song with this movie.. ahh i was so excited, i already knew it would fit so perfectly, what a great choice! i couldn't watch it until now but i kept thinking about it, thinking the dancing scene would fit so well and ofc their song ah.. and you did those exact things! you did a super beautiful job with this, the scenes you chose and the way you edited it all, i haven't felt emotional for an edit in a longer time but this did it! the 'tell myself i'm alright' and then 'you're just harder to see then most' i was really awestruck with how beautifully it matched. so super happy i was able to inspire you to edit this absolutely beautiful video <33
