Hi Bonnie! We had a shitzu-bishop who had the same issues. By any chance have they checked out her para-thyroid? It controls the release of calcium from the bones into the blood and can cause kidney stones/bladder crystals. I’m sure your vet already checked this, but I just had to mention it just incase! With our dog it did affect her mobility because her bones were weaker and affected her energy levels. I wish you the best with your fur-baby! It breaks your heart when they aren’t feeling well! ❤

Hi Bonnie, my cat has the exact same issue. It’s cost us thousands. Trust me when I say the food does work. My vet told me it takes up to 3 months of exclusive urinary food for the effects to begin. They told us to slowly introduce it. Mix it with her normal food and then eventually get fully onto the urinary food. I hope Lady feels better soon.

Our golden retriever just had surgery to remove bladder stones and sandy crystals. She had to go to a specialist. This is her second surgery. Hopefully when they get the findings back from the lab we will know what’s causing poor Violet to keep getting them she is 11
Hopefully your baby will not have to have surgery. I have some comfort knowing I’m not the only one having these issues, but sorry you have to go through this with Lady

My 16 year old chihuahua had kidney and bladder issues we started feeding her fresh pet and worked great.. overall way more healthy

I have Interstitial Cystitis and dogs can get this bladder disease. According to our vet, it is becoming more common in dogs especially dogs that are crossbreeds. There is no cure but there are treatments that may help. In humans. diet plays the most important role with this disease.

Our small dogs we have steps for the couch and bed so they don’t have to jump up and down. It’s bad for their back and legs. They have them on Amazon, my husband built ours to match our living room.
