Johnny Cash had a song when I was young called That's Enough, I think that's the title. I've Got Jesus And That's Enough. This was back in the 50's or 60's. It helped me through some rough times.

oh Johnny Cash...truly an American legend. He has such a variety of songs, but yes many of them have a Gospel theme. Early in his career he did a lot of Gospel hymns. Of course he did a lot of different songs too. He is well known to have struggled throughout his life with his humanity, drugs, bad choices. But nearer to the end of his life he started to reflect again on his relationship with the Lord and some of his later songs have a very serious tone about when we stand before the Lord. God's Gonna Cut You Down, recorded after he passed. Another one you can react to that is not about God, but it is one he wrote in response to questions he was asked about himself, and this song is his response to the question about why he always wears black. Man In Black. Enjoy!

Johnny cash was a very reglious mam, he was good friends with Billy Graham and sang at several of his revivals. You should check those out!! He gave multiple interviews that give more insight then even his songs do.

Yes 95% of the lyrics are direct quotes from the King James Bible. Mostly from Revelation also Acts, Daniel and various other books new and old testament. Johnny recorded A large number of Gospel Albums. Another great song is "GOD'S GOING TO CUT YOU DOWN" GOD BLESS ALL

He always has been this way but he go through a rough life and addiction/minor arrests in his younger days but always gave it to god in the end
