Why do we like CSGO?
Because we are winning.

Why do we like Valorant?
Because we also winning.

Why do we hate life?
Because this game is shit sometime.

Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Hiko was already dead.

I prefer CSGO.
I played a lot of Valorant when it was in beta(and/or playtest, can't remember exactly). I really liked Valorant back then, because there were a lot of QoL stuff that it had over CSGO. But to me it's already become too cluttered with effects and characters.
I really like the minimalism that CSGO has over Valorant.
Also CSGO has custom player made stuff, which is a huge upside for me.

In Valorant, people almost never mention CS:GO.
In CS:GO, all people can talk about is Valorant.

100% true, I like valorant but the movement kills it for me

I was hard-stuck on a console for years but always watched CS videos and other content, just because I loved how everything was so precise and clean-cut. Not sure how else to describe it but everything just makes sense in that game. Sure, some missed shots aside, but like the throws are always the exact same spot, the prefires are always at the same spot. There’s no variability or accounting for the wind or whatever. Just feels way better to play than console games, and I’ve loved it for years

I agree with Dmitri . Most of people who play valo are usually cant excel from the intricacy and complexity of mechanics of CS or they find valorant's mechanics are noob friendly despite RIOT's "PreCiSE gUnPLaY"

You are forced to play one style and one style only in Valorant. And then the meta changes and you are forced to play on that style only because its slightly better. Rinse and repeat. It gets repetitive after a while.
In CS, there's creativity in movement. There're different play styles you can run. The individual smokes allow for much more convoluted tactics. The gunplay is great.

Also, tradeable and marketable skins.

valorant is easier to pick up. Csgo is harder to master. Its just pure movement and skills plus you can actually showcase your experience through being able to spray a 30 clip without rng.

I loved csgo, what killed it for me was the abundance of hackers in the game so now i play valorant and tbh sometimes it drives me insane how random valorant gameplay is

Valorant tag is hard AF. If you got tag you have to take on the fight. There's no escape once you get tagged

I like valorant more because I sucked at CSGO when I first got it and it confused me a lot

Valorant movement and gunplay is that way because of the diversity of utility in the game. It's just a baseline that you enhance with agent abilities. CGSO movement and gunplay is the core of the game and you spend your time mastering that. It's two completely different types of gameplay that CANNOT AND SHOULD NOT be compared.

CSGO all day

And the reason is quite simple: versatility in roles

In Valorant, the role that you played is based on the agent's skillset, and almost none the time the people knows how to use it properly. Not to mentions you can't just play 1 agent and called it a day, as different agents have different advantages (and some really drastically) while for some is a disadvantage.

CS on the other hand, the only thing you need to know is the lineup, either utils or team lineup, you can swap anytime you want (say you're entry, but you constantly get rekt'd by the kid on stairs, and you know someone in your team can took the role; just told them "im going B" or im baiting B, bam, that's a wrap)

It's because of the movement and shooting that I wish CSGO was easier to pick up and play sometimes. I prefer Valorant as the game to play, but love watching CSGO as a spectator sport since the excitement is seeing what could happen next and what plan will execute better than the other. Valorant's excitement comes when the enemies line up for an easy spray down.
