Today I've bought the Sony BPD-S1700. But I wonder is there a slow motion on it. Also the remote control of the TV seems to have taken several functions from the DVD-player's remote control and several of his usual functions are not available as long as the DVD-player is switched on. I don't want this. Can it be undone?

I have a Sony bluray player but for some reason it does t work right when I put a gluten disc in it and it makes weird noises and all it will show is the bluray players menu. I'm not sure why it does that.

I’ve bought this item twice from Walmart. While paperwork lists connecting cable as included, it is not. Do not buy this. Be leery of Walmart electronics section - they do not help.

I have the SONY Blu-Ray DVD BDP-S1700

And have a SAMSUNG TV UN32EH4003F

My problem is when I get to the SOURCE it shows up NO SIGNAL so I can't get to the HDMI 2 to watch a movie or get back to the HDMI 1 to watch the TV, but I called SAMSUNG and the guy took me to switch the HDMI in back of the TV so I can get back to the TV but I want be able to use the Blu-ray to watch movies I will have to switch again in order to watch movies.
Anyway I ordered another Samsung remote control because I had the one that came with the TV for a long time and DISH will be sending me another remote control. So when I get these 2 things, BEST BUY told me that they will come to my home to set up the Blu-ray to the TV for me.
